It snowed in New York City all day today, and it resulted in over two feet of fresh white powder. The kids loved playing on the roof in the snow until they were cold to the core. They tasted the fresh snow, made snowballs, attempted to make snow angels and had such a great time that they insisted on going out and play in the snow again before bedtime. You can’t makeup those smiles on their faces!
So now that winter is officially here, I had Dancing in Carseats create a winter ready collection with some of her favorite things!
1) Sunglasses Tom Ford – “Madison” $230
Protect your eyes this winter from the flying snow and the bright sun reflection off of the snow.
2) Umbrella – ShedRain WindPro $30
Rain or snow this umbrella will keep you protected from the elements.
3) Cell Phone Case from Casetify $40
Casetify is a social design service where you design your custom iPhone/iPad cases with your Instagram photos, and they use their patent-pending technology to turn it into a real case.
4) North Face Arctic Parka $224
The inner lining contrast color on tis coat is that perfect winter pop of color that I am always looking for wishing the sea of all black coats.
5) b.o.c. Boots $155
These boots might have to be saved for the springtime, I would not want the snow ruining them.
6) Wedgeood Vera Print Travel Coffee Mug $26
The gorgeous design is what drew me to this mug, plus if you make your own coffee at home you are saving money and time.
7) Diaper bag – Dash Signature SkipHop $65
Dash sports a hip, city style and great functionality. With 11 roomy pockets, there is space for everything baby needs, and a zippered compartment for mom and dad’s personal items. The bag includes our patented Shuttle Clips, allowing it to quickly and easily convert from a shoulder bag to a stroller bag. When attached to the stroller, you can leave the shoulder strap attached or remove it for a cleaner look. The Dash includes magnetic closures throughout and a comfy shoulder pad.
8) Joovy Balloon Stroller $200
This new lightweight full-featured stroller from Joovy is only 12.7 lbs, has easy handling for lifting in and out of the trunk, onto the bus, or train. You can stroll with direct eye-to-eye contact with the reversible handle for moments when you need easy access to your baby. The Joovy Balloon stroller has a huge UV canopy with an extra-large UPF 50 canopy. Available in six vibrant colors, but I think the blue is perfect for this New York City winter.
