Robin Hood the Prince of Thieves and his Merry men and woman, steal from the rich to give to the poor. They do all the wrong things for all the right reasons, while laughing along the way. This amazing cast of four actors play over a dozen different characters from Robin Hood, to a sassy Maid Marian, a noble King Richard, a villainous Prince John, a likeable Little John and the sneaky Sheriff of Nottingham. This production of Robin Hood from the Seattle Children’s Theater, at The New Victory Theater, is a bit modernized, fast-paced and totally funny, my son who is almost 5 had the best 150 minutes spent at the theater ever.

My son loved the audience participation “Long live Robin Hood!” we booed the Sheriff of Nottingham when he cheated in the potato sack race and he held his breath during the real sword fights. During intermission make sure to head downstairs, so your kid can participate in their own Silver Arrow Challenge, just like Robin Hood and Maid Marian.

After the show you can also do a meet and greet with the amazing cast of four, Hans Altwies, Basil Harris, Hana Lass and David Quicksall were all lovely.
