When you are in Maui, and need a few hours out of the sun or rain, the Maui Ocean Center, also known as The Hawaiian Aquarium, is a cute little place to check out. All of the animals and sea life here are from Hawaii. The marine park is designed to help visitors develop an understanding and appreciation of Hawaii’s marine environment. I think the price is a bit high for what the Maui Ocean Center has on offer, and the location is kinda within a strip mall, but the kids had a blast and were ready to go once we made our way through. A morning well spent to tire the kids out when on vacation.

The top five highlights of the Maui Ocean Center

  1. Living Reef
  2. Turtle Lagoon
  3. Tide Pool
  4. Sea Jelly Gallery
  5. Open Ocean
