This week was a big week for My Strange Family, H started preschool. On Monday he had open house for 20 min, Tuesday and Wednesday he had half days, then on Thursday and every weekday after, until the end of the school year, he will be going a full day of school. He is almost four and is totally ready for daily learning, friends and something he can call his own, to showoff his unique style and personality.

First Day of Montessori

With his ever growing personality, he is all about having inputs on what he is wearing and how his hair is cut. His last few haircuts he has asked to keep his hair a bit longer, so with his longer hair I have needed to invest in some additional hair produces on top of just shampoo.

I have tried numerous brands and types of shampoo on H, but they rarely stick with him. I wash his hair every other day, so on the off day I want his hair to still have that “fresh scent”. So, when SoCozy reached out for me to sample their new product line on my kids, I was excited and ready to try something new on them.

SoCozy kids Hair productsFirst of all the packaging is cute, and easy to decipher what each product is used for. Upon using, the products are easy to open, close, pump and spray. The scents are age appropriate for kids, but totally appeal to adults. After using in my kids hair for almost two weeks now, the scent sticks, so I know he smells clean when going to school! However, the ingredients fine print is probably the best feature.

SoCozy Shampoo Conditioner

SoCozy products feature extracts from natural ingredients like hops, rosemary, arnica flower and aloe, which are good for both hair and scalp. The products are specially formulated to bring salon-level quality to kids’ hair care, and contains no nasties like harmful chemicals, toxins or parabens. Completely free of gluten, wheat and nuts, the innovative formulas were created specifically with kids’ unique hair textures in mind.

H wanted to style his own hair for the first day of Primary Montessori, I loved that it was easy enough for an almost four year old to use.
