Every piece of artwork done by my kid is a memory and a treasure, I would love to keep them all. In reality I can only save a folder full each year. I alway try to take a photo of his artwork (before it gets trashed) and store it into Keepy a private app that stores photo and recorded memories (it is easy to use and totally sweet). However, I was recently introduced to Budsies, and I was excited to see what they could do with H’s ArtByH.

Budsies turns your childs drawing into a custom stuffed toy

Rocket ship Budsie

When choosing what piece of artwork to send to Budsies I knew it had to be something special and tangible. I wanted H to treasure his custom stuffed animal as much as I treasure his amazing art ability. He recently created an amazing rocket ship t-shirt from Hiho Batik, and I knew his adorable rocket ship drawing would be perfect as a Budsie.

He instantly loved his new stuffed toy

His imagination was running wild, with adventures of going to the moon and making his Budsie blast-off to space, over and over again. It is now one of his new bedtime friends, and is big enough for him to use a a pillow. I had no clue how much he would love his new stuffed toy, but he knows it was designed by him, and created specially for him, making it that much more special.

Ordering a custom Budsie was easy, and the turnaround time was fast

All you need to do is upload a photo, give a short description, highlight the colors and off it goes to be created. It will take more time picking out the perfect picture than submitting your order. Plus for every stuffed animal that they make, they donate one to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Easter Seals. The normal price for a custom made stuffed Budsie is $99 but for the month of June you can turn your child’s drawing into a custom stuffed animal for $69. I was provided with a custom Budsie for review purposes, but all opinions expressed here are my own.
