I can’t believe it has been five months! Some days go by way too fast and others go by way too slow. Lets just say a five month old is easier than a four, three, two or one month old.
We have been very strict this whole fifth month on lilStrange’s routine making sure sleep is the #1 priority. We are still a long way from a perfectly sleeping baby, but making a sleep schedule and sticking to it will make her a happier baby and us a happier family unit. She ranges between 7 to 10 hours a night (however, she is still making noise at 10:30pm as I type this).
lilStrange is rolling tummy-to-back and back-to-tummy allowing her to roll everywhere to get her little hands on what she wants. Plus once she has something in her hands, her hands go directly into her mouth. Baby proofing is so much harder with a 3 year old brother around but we are trying our hardest to keep a safe area for the baby (she is in my arms a lot).
This month we have heard tons of giggles, seen tons of smiles and I swear she already says Mama (it was only once, and I was the only one who heard it, but I did hear it I think).
I am excited what this next month brings including holidays and more travel.
