Today you turn three. I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. You have grown so much in this past year, and the things you know and do truly amaze me. Many days I have to remind myself that you are still so young, because our conversations and laughs are as if we are lifelong friends. You became a big brother this past year, and I love watching you interact with your sister. She is the first thing you ask about when you wake up each morning and you are concerned whenever she cries. You started going to preschool this past year as well, and all of your teachers adore you. You are like a sponge soaking in as much information as you can and you can’t wait to share what you learned after every class. Your memory is better than mine and I am shocked when you remember the details of things which happened over a year ago. You know all of your numbers and letters and are curious how they go together to form bigger numbers and words. You can spell your name, “mama”, “dad”, “mema and papa”. You love singing, dancing, making art, exploring different playgrounds, going to the zoo, playing bowling and basketball and trying to figure out how things work. French toast is your favorite food, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is your favorite show, It’s a Small World is your favorite song and your favorite book is Apple Park Picnic Pals. I hope you always stay sweet, kind and inquisitive. Happy happy birthday to you!
