New apartment, new season in New York City, new baby on the way, the constant annoying little cough from H and sneezing from my husband made me realize the importance of investing in an air purifier. Not just any air purifier but one that removes allergens, germs, mold and has odor reduction. I was excited when Honeywell asked me to try out one of their new Doctor’s Choice- Air Purifiers with True HEPA Allergen Removers, the timing could not have been more perfect.

Honeywell Home Air Purifier

I did not know what HEPA (High-efficiency particulate air) meant until I Googled it, but if an air purifier is classified as HEPA it needs to meet a list of standards from the United States Department of Energy and must remove 99.97% of all particles greater than 0.3 micrometre from the air that passes through. It is still a bit confusing, but sign me up if a product can remove 99.97% of anything including airborne grass, tree and other pollen, dust, smoke, pet fur/dander, mold spores, bacteria and viruses.

Besides all the great health benefit features of the Honeywell Air Purifier with True HEPA Allergen Remover, it also looks sleek and modern in our living space. The controls are easy to use, has a quiet operation mode, auto-off timer (but I run ours 24/7) and it is Energy Star qualified.

Ours is the medium sized air purifier as it fits most rooms, and I have been moving it around the apartment room-by-room. The Honeywell Air Purifier with True HEPA Allergen Remover is available in three price points and sizes if you need something smaller or larger for your space.

Honeywell Home febrezeI was also introduced to the new styles in the Honeywell with Febreze Freshness Cool & Refresh Fan (this is a great fan and air freshener all-in-one) and the cool colors in the Honeywell Tower Chillout Fan (perfect for small spaces).

I was provided with a Honeywell Air Purifier with True HEPA Allergen Remover for review purposes, but as always all opinion express here are my own.
